Good soft skiing in the bowls off the stoke chair and on the upper mountain. Sheltered areas will have the lighter snow where as more exposed features will have been wind groomed. If groomers are your thing we got groomers from top of the stoke to the base. Enjoy the day on the mountain.
Backcountry Conditions
In the backcountry moderate to strong winds overnight may have created some new wind slabs. The surface hoar buried Jan 2nd is buried approximately 80cm down, in many areas it is still seeing reactivity to skiers. Check out avalanche.ca for all the details on the avalanche bulletin.
